The need to fit in is so powerful especially when we’re young, and the right peer group can help shape us in a positive way.
Human. Such a curious word to use when talking about a book filled with supernatural characters, but that was my goal: to make these characters human first and supernatural second, especially the protagonist, Dillon Howell, a thirteen-year-old werewolf who is new to town.
While finding your “tribe” is important, being accepted by one’s family is just as crucial. Dillon also has to deal with this as his very human parents aren’t exactly thrilled about their son’s “condition” as they call it.
